Summer seems to be passing by so fast. I will be house sitting for the nest week and then have a week off and start house sitting for someone else, and as soon as that is over it's off to Utah... YAY!! Through all of this I still have to take history and geography online. BOO! I did get an "A" in my Children's Literature class, maybe she didn't hate me so much after all.

Yesterday I got to baby sit my friends 3 month old son Junior, I had so much fun, he is a cutie. I never realized how exhausting it can be to watch a 3 month old, you don't have to chase them any where but they still wear you out, but it's definitely worth it. Here are some pictures I took of him and a little video but he gets kinda mad in the end. I think he really want to roll over in this viedo.

Update

So summer has "officially" started for me. Regular session classes ended three weeks ago, I took a 3 week summer school class (childrens literature) so my summer break just started. That is a picture od three weeks of doing nothing but reading and of course "reflecting." This class was intense, the first night we were assigned over 160 pages of reading to be done by the next day! It didn't help that my teacher wasn't really the smartest person in the world. The first red flag was an assigned reading, "The Devil's Highway", this book is about 30 guys trying to make the journey from Mexico to the U.S. on foot, over half of these men died, and it is sickening what the other half had to do to stay alive. My teacher was totally under the impression that this book was appropriate to read to a classroom full of second graders, take my word, IT IS NOT!!! Many people know that I'm not very savvy in the geography department so this may surprise you. My teacher was from Puerto Rico, and VERY proud of it, she is also a grad student, and will potentially be teaching the children of our future. She very clearly stated one day that she is not an american and that her country (Puerto Rico) wants nothing to do with the U.S. and would NEVER be associated with the U.S. I knew that Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory but given my history in Geography I started second guessing myself, I checked with my classmates, and sure enough I wasn't the only one who caught that. We tried to bring it up and explain it to her but she just wasn't having it, there is no way that it could be true. WOW! This is the lady that is supposed to educate me???? I'm screwed! Anyways, that class is over and done with and I did an insane amount of work, so I better get an "A"

I kicked off my summer vacation with a pool party and had the best time. I will have to add more of those pictures later but it was a blast to hang out with my friends and just relax. I'm really looking forward to this summer I feel like it will be a new chapter in my life. I have very kindly let a certain someone know I would not like them in my life any more, those of you who know me well enough know exactly who I'm talking about. This last year has been very interesting for me. I feel like I have grown so much and I have learned so many valuable lessons. As hard at it has been to let go of the past I am so happy I did and I can't wait to see what is next!

I plan to have a very exciting summer, so my goal is to blog everyday, we'll see how that goes!
